Our History
JumpCo Software Labs started as a Software Programming School for non-graduates in 2002. Over the years, many young South Africans have achieved industry certifications in meaningful vendor technologies and subsequent employment into the ICT services sector. After a decade, the Jumpco Software Labs is now a registered SETA program and incubates software engineers in Johannesburg. The Jumpco Software Labs includes formal industry accreditation and/or qualification coupled with tangible coal-face work experience. Work readiness, productivity, qualification, personal career development are the key drivers in the Skills Development Labs.

Our Vision is to develop world-class software engineers with formal relevant IT technology certifications, practical working experience, and the necessary professional ethos to compete in a challenging global knowledge economy.

Our Emphasis is on mostly young South Africans who demonstrate the potential for Software Development but lack the opportunity to gain a foothold in this industry.

Our Program is a holistic collaboration between the candidates, private corporate engagements and government bodies (e.g. SETA) to tackle the lack of IT skills in the South African market.
